If you have a goal in front of you and the passion to achieve it, then it is said that any difficulty becomes easy and success kisses your feet. Yes, another big thing plays an important role in achieving your target, that is the idea, which makes its path easy. This time the idea of Kaivalya Bohra, included in the Hurun Rich List (Hurun Rich List 2024), did something similar and today he is the youngest billionaire in the country with a net worth of Rs 3600 crore. Let us know the whole story of Kaivalya from college dropout to becoming India’s Youngest Bollonaire

For the first time, more than 300 billionaires from India have been included in the Hurun India Rich List. The first name in this is that of Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani, who has won the title of India’s Richest Billionaire, leaving behind Reliance Group Chairman Mukesh Ambani. At the same time, the title of the youngest billionaire has once again been occupied by Kaivalya Bohra, co-founder of quick delivery platform Zepto.

Zepto continues to expand its business and operates in cities like Bengaluru, Lucknow, Delhi and Chennai, with the growth of business and its market value also increasing tremendously. Zepto is a quick commerce unicorn startup, valued at $5 billion. The success of the company can also be gauged from the fact that at the age of just 19, its co-founder Kaivalya Vohra entered the IIFL Wealth-Hurun India Rich List 2022 and has been included in this list as the youngest billionaire for the third consecutive year. His other co-founder, 22-year-old Adit Palicha has been included in this list as the second youngest billionaire.

21 years old and 3600 crore net worth

Quick commerce app Zepto became the first unicorn of the year 2023. Zepto app is India’s fastest online grocery delivery platform that delivers groceries, fruits, vegetables, personal care, electronics and more to you online in just a few minutes. Its co-founder Kaivalya, included in the Hurun India Rich List, is the owner of Rs 3,600 crore at the age of just 21. The story of him starting this startup with his friend is very interesting.

I saw my dream in college and left my studies

Zepto’s co-founder Kaivalya Vohra was born in Bengaluru in 2003 and completed his early education from Mumbai and Dubai. After this, he enrolled to graduate in Computer Science from Stanford University. At the age when the goal is to study and work hard for a good job, some other idea was bouncing in Kaivalya’s mind. With this idea, he took a big step to start his own business and decided to leave college in the year 2020 at the age of just 17. His friend Adit Palicha supported him in this business plan.

The journey started with the jugalbandi of two friends

Before Kaivalya left his studies to start his own business with his friend Adit, he started a car-pool service for students named GoPool in 2018. But it was becoming difficult to do business along with studies, so he dropped out of college and came to Mumbai. After coming to Mumbai, Kaivalya along with Adit started an online grocery delivery startup KiranaMart in 2020, but it did not get the response that both the friends had thought and then it had to be shut down. But both of them did not give up and started on a new path with a new idea.

The idea of Zeptosecond came to Kaivalya while studying in college. After ordering online, it used to take two to three days for the delivery of goods and he decided to solve this problem through a quick delivery startup and from here Zepto started. When the corona epidemic was raging in the country, this startup was started to provide quick delivery of goods to people at their homes. In such a situation, the demand for online delivery had increased a lot, which benefited Zepto. After the closure of Kiranamart, Kaivalya and Adit started working on this 10-minute idea in the year 2021 and then changed the whole game.
