A court in Madhya Pradesh’s Narmadapuram district sentenced a 22-year-old man to death for raping and murdering a 5-year-old girl. The court gave this verdict in the brutal case within 2 years, 8 months and 9 days.
District prosecution officer Rajkumar Nema said that Sohagpur II Additional Sessions Judge Suresh Kumar Choubey convicted Kishan alias Chinu Machhiya under relevant provisions of the Indian Penal Code and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act.
“Younger brother’s wife, sister, son and wife, listen fool, these four are equal. Whoever looks at them with evil eyes, there is no sin in killing him.” That is, younger brother’s wife, sister, son’s wife and daughter are all equal. If someone looks at them with evil eyes, there is no sin in killing him.
Judge Suresh Kumar Chaubey recited this verse from Shri Ramcharitmanas in his judgment and said, “Rape of every innocent, blameless, innocent, naive girl is a rarest of rare incident. The case of rape and murder cannot be considered normal in any way. Death penalty is the only punishment for it.”
what is the whole matter
A 6-year-old girl went missing from her home in Shobhapur in Narmadapuram district on December 25, 2021. After searching everywhere, the girl’s body was found on the roof and investigation revealed that she had been subjected to unnatural sex before being strangled. Her elder brother told the police that while they were playing, an acquaintance named Machia had come to the roof. On this basis, the accused was arrested. During the investigation, the accused’s DNA profile also matched with the samples collected from the crime scene.
