‘You people are blessed…’, when Anjana asked a question to the Congress spokesperson referring to Aaj Tak’s survey

After the Lok Sabha elections, elections are to be held in many states this year. Meanwhile, Aaj Tak conducted a ‘Mood of the Nation’ survey in collaboration with C-Voter to gauge the mood of the people of the country. Through this, an attempt was made to find out whose government would be formed if Lok Sabha elections were held in the country today. Along with this, an attempt was also made to know people’s opinion about the major issues of electoral states like Jammu-Kashmir, Haryana, Maharashtra and Jharkhand and the functioning of the current government.

Congress had raised questions about this survey. But the data of this survey was extracted and used for caste census. On Thursday, Anjana Om Kashyap asked a question to the Congress spokesperson in the special show ‘Halla Bol’ referring to Aaj Tak’s survey, in response to which Surendra Rajput said that it is wrong to use abusive language on any channel or healthy democratic debate. Anyone has the right to disagree.

The Congress spokesperson said that it is the power of the Constitution and the power of the Rahul Gandhi-India alliance that these people (Central Government) could not bring the Broadcasting Bill. They could not even bring the Wakf Bill. Lateral entry had to be withdrawn. They are having to request to postpone the Haryana elections. If your channel also allows us to take part of your survey, then we will continue to take part of our work like this in the future as well.
