Deadline for free Aadhaar update extended till September 14
Let us tell you that UIDAI, the organization issuing Aadhaar, has extended the deadline for free update of Aadhaar card. Earlier this deadline was 14 June 2024, which has been extended to 14 September 2024. Now you can do any update related to your Aadhaar till 14 September.
You can update your address sitting at home
If you also want to change the address in your Aadhaar card, then you do not need to go anywhere. You can update it online from home. For this, you will have to spend only 50 rupees. So let us tell you the whole process.
How to update your address in Aadhaar
- UIDAI official site myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in/ Go to.
- Here you will see the LOGIN option on the homepage.
- As soon as you click on it, you will see the option to enter Aadhar card and captcha.
- After this, an OTP will come on your phone, you will have to login by entering the OTP.
- After this, go to the Aadhaar Update section, there click on the option of Head Of Family (HOF) based Aadhaar update.
- Go there and enter the Aadhar card number of the head of the family.
- After entering the Aadhaar number, you will have to pay Rs 50 as service charge.
- A request will be sent to the person whose Aadhaar card number you have entered.
- The head of the family will have to allow the request received on his phone.
- After this your Aadhar card will be updated.
