Lucknow News: Health workers recruited on contract during the Covid pandemic are now demanding their reinstatement. A large number of people from across the state reached the residence of Health Minister and Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak with their demands and demonstrated. These people demanded reinstatement of their services which have been terminated. There are more than five thousand such health workers who had provided their services during the Covid pandemic. Now these people are demanding their adjustment.
According to the information, the contract employees of the health department working during the Covid period reached the residence of Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak in Lucknow. During this, a large number of contract workers surrounded the residence and protested and put forth their demands. Employees from many districts had reached Lucknow to participate in this protest, who have demanded contract extension.

Seeing the protesters at the Deputy CM’s residence in Lucknow, the local police and a truck of PAC were called on the spot. The health contract employees who reached Lucknow from various districts of the state said that we have come on the road after losing our jobs. We were put to work during Covid, but why have we been fired after that. We have come here about 15 times. Every time we have only received assurances.
The contract workers said that we have become unemployed due to the loss of jobs. No one is listening to us at the local level, so we have reached Lucknow to convey our message to Deputy CM and Health Minister Brajesh Pathak. These people protesting in Lucknow had pamphlets in their hands on which their demands were written.
