A sensational case of acid attack has come to light in Nandalur, Andhra Pradesh. Here a 44-year-old widow woman threw acid on her ex-boyfriend because he was cheating on her and marrying another girl. After this attack, there was chaos in the wedding ceremony. The boyfriend also retaliated on the woman with a knife, in which she got injured. The police have registered a case in this matter and arrested both of them.
According to the information, Jaya, a woman from Tirupati, was a software engineer. She has a 22-year-old son. After the death of her husband, she was in a relationship with a young man named Sheikh Syed (32). Both of them lived together for about 10 years. Meanwhile, Sheikh went to Kuwait for a job. He stayed there for four years. After returning from there, under pressure from his family, he agreed to marry another girl.
On Sunday at around 11 am, preparations were going on for Sheikh Syed’s wedding in Arvapalli village of Nandalur Mandal. Guests and family members were gathered. Meanwhile, the woman came there. She started opposing the marriage. There was a fierce fight between the two. Sheikh clearly said that he will no longer live with Jaya. Angered by this, the woman attacked him with bathroom cleaning acid, which fell on Sheikh’s aunt.

After this, Sheikh Syed retaliated and attacked Jaya with a knife. She also suffered minor injuries in this. As soon as the information of this incident was received, the police reached the spot. On the basis of the complaint of both the parties, the police have registered a case against Jaya and Sheikh under the relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code. After arresting both of them, the police is investigating the matter. At present, Sheikh’s marriage has been cancelled.
Let us tell you that a similar case came to light last month in Agra, UP. Here a woman attacked her lover with acid due to one-sided love. She informed the police and said that her lover had attacked her with acid. But the police reached the spot and after investigation arrested the accused woman and sent her to jail. The name of the person injured in the acid attack is Hemshankar. He lives in Awas Vikas Colony.
Hemshankar has a shop of plates and bowls in Khandari. About 6 months ago a woman named Aasma came to his shop to buy some goods. While buying goods they came in contact. Both of them started talking to each other. Aasma is a mother of three children. She started loving Hemshankar from the bottom of her heart. Recently Hemshankar’s marriage was fixed, when Aasma came to know about it she started opposing it. She started talking about breaking the marriage.
Initially, Hemshankar thought her words were a joke. But later he realized that the matter was serious. She told him that she was the mother of three children. Her family would not agree to marry her in such a situation. Angered by this, Asma attacked him with acid. This left deep wounds on Hemshankar’s face. After this, the accused woman fled from the spot. But the police caught her by putting her phone number on surveillance.
