Actually, Darbhanga’s rural SP Kamya Mishra has resigned due to family reasons. Kamya Mishra had applied for resignation a year ago. Kamya Mishra was made the SIT chief in the murder case of Vikassheel Insaan Party (VIP) supremo Mukesh Sahni’s father Jitan Sahni. This murder case was revealed under her leadership.

According to the information, Kamya Mishra, popularly known as ‘Lady Singham’, is originally from Odisha. Kamya was transferred from Himachal cadre to Bihar cadre. Kamya Mishra was posted at the Secretariat police station in Patna. After this, Kamya Mishra of the 2019 batch was appointed as the Rural SP in Darbhanga in March 2024.
At the same time, Kamya Mishra’s husband Awadhesh Saroj is a 2021 batch IPS officer of Bihar cadre. IPS Awadhesh has done B.Tech from Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT Bombay).
