Former Andhra Pradesh CM Jagan Mohan Reddy on Wednesday staged a sit-in protest at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar against the newly elected state government TDP. During this, Jagan Reddy accused Chandrababu Naidu’s government of spreading violence in the state and targeting the workers of Yuvajana Shramik Raithu Congress Party (YSRCP). His sit-in protest also got the support of India Alliance. Leaders of many opposition parties reached Jagan’s sit-in protest and attacked the central government. During this, efforts to make Jagan’s party a part of India Alliance were also seen.

SP chief Akhilesh Yadav and Ram Gopal Yadav attended Jagan Mohan’s protest, while Shiv Sena UBT leaders Sanjay Raut, Priyanka Chaturvedi and Arvind Sawant also attended. TMC’s Najibul Haque and JMM’s Vijay Hansda, Aam Aadmi Party leader Rajendra Pal Gautam and AIADMK leader Thambi Durai also came to support Jagan. During this, Tamil Nadu’s VCK party appealed to Jagan Mohan to become a part of the India Alliance.

YSRCP has 15 MPs

On the other hand, Jagan Mohan Reddy reminded the NDA that he also has 15 MPs. Let us tell you that YSRCP has 11 MPs in the Rajya Sabha while this party has 4 MPs in the Lok Sabha. At the same time, the number of TDP MPs in the Lok Sabha is 16. Jagan said that in such a situation, it should be remembered that we and TDP have equal strength.

Speaking to reporters at Jantar Mantar, Jagan Mohan Reddy said, ‘Today they are in power in the state. Till yesterday we were in power. Tomorrow we may come to power again. But we never supported such behavior. We never encouraged attacks and damage to property. But after the formation of the TDP government, the situation in Andhra Pradesh is completely different today.’

Said- 30 people were killed in 45 days

Jagan said that I want to ask whether democracy is prevailing in Andhra Pradesh or not. Within 45 days of formation of the new government in the state, more than 30 people have been murdered. Many properties have also been destroyed. Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu’s son Nara Lokesh is displaying a red book in the entire state. This red book contains the names of those leaders against whom he will take action and attack. Such hoardings have been put up all over the state.

What did Akhilesh Yadav say?

Akhilesh Yadav said that after coming to power, the opponents should not be targeted in this way. The voice of the opposition should also be heard. This is democracy. Akhilesh Yadav said that we do not accept the trend of bulldozers that has come in democracy. People who scare do not stay in power for long. During this time, Sanjay Raut also spent time with Jagan Mohan and raised questions on the NDA government at the center.
