Rajasthan Police SI Exam 2021: After the continuous sensational revelations in the Rajasthan Police Sub-Inspector Recruitment Exam 2021, there are speculations of cancellation of the exam. The Special Operation Group (SOG) of Rajasthan Police has detained the trainee SI who passed the exam through dummy candidates. Recently, the SOG has detained former members of Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) Ramuram Raika and Babulal Katara in this case. Amidst this action, discussions have started regarding the cancellation of Rajasthan Police SI Recruitment Exam.
Proposal sent to the government to cancel the recruitment exam
According to local media reports, the police headquarters has sent a proposal to the Rajasthan government regarding the cancellation of the recruitment exam and the government can take a final decision on this. A few days ago, SOG ADG Vijay Kumar Singh had sent a proposal to cancel the recruitment exam and even told how the paper was leaked from the examination center and reached many people through social media.
Former RPSC member gave the leaked paper to his children
According to media reports, this proposal reached the government through Director General of Police UR Sahu and the matter was also discussed. Earlier, the SOG of Rajasthan Police had arrested former member of Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) Ramu Ram Raika for allegedly sharing the leaked question paper of Sub-Inspector Recruitment Exam 2021 with his children.
‘Fake’ candidates were caught through dummy exam
Earlier, in the SI Recruitment-2021 case, the SOG had earlier arrested several trainee fake SHOs. During interrogation, the SOG had received many important inputs. It was revealed that there are many more sub-inspectors involved in this fraud, who are taking training in RPA. There were allegations that those SIs had made dummy candidates sit in their place in the examination. Then, the SOG team raided the Rajasthan Police Academy in April 2024 and detained about 15 trainee SIs.
17 trainee SIs were caught in a dummy exam
SOG officials had conducted a dummy exam and got the paper solved by trainee SIs who had passed the real exam. However, the dummy paper also had the same questions that came in the SI Recruitment 2021 paper. Still, 17 trainee SIs could not solve the paper. SOG took them into custody at that time. Out of these 17 trainee SIs, 2 were later released. But, 15 were arrested. Rajasthan Police SOG had also recently detained 5 other trainee SIs. Let us tell you that this recruitment drive was conducted in September 2021 to fill a total of 859 vacancies of SI.
