Will CM Yogi compensate for the loss in UP by playing the ‘Hindutva card’? BJP spokesperson gave this answer in ‘Halla Bol’

In Aaj Tak’s special show ‘Halla Bol’ on Monday, the spokesperson of the Bharatiya Janata Party was asked that the same Uttar Pradesh in which the BJP almost swept, gave a shock to the BJP in the 2024 elections. In such a situation, the question arises whether the issue of Hindutva is being raised by Yogi Adityanath so that the loss caused by issues like caste census and reservation can be compensated.

On this, BJP spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia said, ‘Whether it is PM Modi or Yogi Adityanath, we bat on the pitch of India and Hindutva and it is not wrong to bat on the pitch of Hindutva. It is wrong to bat on the pitch of Hamas and Jinnah.’

He said, ‘As far as UP is concerned, in 2012 the people of Uttar Pradesh elected Akhilesh Yadav as the Chief Minister, it was a throne given to them by inheritance. When the report card came in 2017, he failed and did not become the Chief Minister again. Yogi Adityanath became the CM in 2017 and when his report card came in 2022, he got A++ and the people blessed him again. This happened after 35 years.’

The BJP spokesperson said, ‘Even in the politics of the Centre, after almost 4 decades, it has happened that there is a Prime Minister who has won the election for the third time and after 62 years his vote percentage has also increased. This also became history. What Yogi ji has said is the sentiment of India.’
