AAP’s Plan for Haryana: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s wife Sunita will launch ‘Kejriwal ki Guarantee’ for Haryana, where elections are due later this year, AAP’s state unit president Sushil Gupta said this on Friday. Gupta told reporters here that Sunita Kejriwal will launch ‘Kejriwal ki Guarantee’ during a meeting in Panchkula on Saturday. “We don’t make promises like the BJP and the Congress, we give guarantees. This will be Arvind Kejriwal’s guarantee and not (Narendra) Modi’s hollow guarantee,” she said.

AAP will contest all 90 seats in Haryana

When asked if these guarantees would also include that Haryana would get SYL (Sutlej Yamuna Link Canal) water, Gupta quipped, “Haryana should get water. Every state should get water. Distribution of water is the job of the central government, the Prime Minister.” The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Thursday said it would contest all 90 assembly seats in Haryana. The party claimed that people want change and are looking towards it with great hope. Gupta said the party would organise 45 assembly constituency-wise meetings for the upcoming assembly elections.

Aam Aadmi Party raised questions on the state government

Attacking the ruling BJP, he termed it anti-farmer. He alleged that the government used all means like lathi, tear gas etc. to crush their agitation. Gupta also alleged that the law and order situation in the state has deteriorated. He said, ‘Jungle Raj prevails in Haryana. Murder, ransom have become common. The government is unable to rein in criminals, but is using all its might to stop farmers from going to Delhi in support of their demands.’

Sanjay Dutt’s cousin joined Aam Aadmi Party

Meanwhile, AAP leader Gupta said Yuvraj Dutt, a cousin of Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt and nephew of late Sunil Dutt, joined the AAP here on Friday. He said Yuvraj was impressed with the AAP’s good governance model, which includes good education, health and jobs for all. “He used to live in Mumbai earlier and (has) also worked in several multinational companies, but now he has shifted to his native village Mandoli in Haryana’s Yamunanagar district. He wants to serve his people. He has also started an organic fish farming centre,” Gupta said.

Yuvraj told reporters that he was impressed with AAP’s campaign against corruption. “I was very impressed and attracted to the party,” he said. In response to a question, he said he was not averse to contesting the upcoming Haryana elections.
