In Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, a husband hired a contract killer to kill his own wife. The young man’s friend also helped him in this murder. According to the information, the husband had struck a deal for Rs 2.5 lakh to get his wife killed and got his wife killed by his friend in front of his eyes.
The husband was upset with her spending too much money
According to the report, the only fault of the deceased woman was that she used to spend a lot of money and this was not acceptable to her husband. This shocking incident happened in Gwalior on 13th August which has been revealed by the police 11 days later.
According to the police, a road accident took place near Vicky Factory on 13 August. A woman Durgavati travelling on a motorcycle was killed after being hit by a loading vehicle, while Durgavati’s brother Sandesh, who was driving the motorcycle, was injured. This was the statement given by Durgavati’s husband Ajay Bhargava to the police.
Ajay had told the police that they were returning after visiting the temple, when his wife died after being hit by a loading vehicle. The police had also considered it an accident and registered a case and started investigation.
The police started scanning the CCTV footage installed around the accident spot and no loading vehicle was visible in the footage. However, the Eco Sport car was visible behind the motorcycle on which Sandesh and Durgavati were riding. After this, the police got suspicious.
The accused had married for the second time
When the police asked Ajay whether the vehicle that hit him was a loading vehicle or a car, Ajay said that it could have been a car. This is where the police’s suspicion on Ajay deepened. After this, the police started investigating Ajay’s horoscope.
During police investigation, it was found that the deceased Durgavati was Ajay’s second wife. Ajay’s first wife lives in Ajay’s ancestral house in Baghchini, Morena, while Ajay had married Durgavati alias Muskan for the second time. Ajay also had a love affair with Durgavati. In the year 2017, both Ajay and Durgavati came in contact with each other while preparing for the exam. But in the year 2021, Durgavati’s father got Durgavati married somewhere else.
Husband planned a road accident
Ajay also got married in the year 2022. Both got busy in their lives, but a few days after Ajay’s marriage, Durgavati divorced her husband and came back to her home. Once again Durgavati and Ajay came in contact with each other. Ajay and Durgavati got married in court in the year 2023. After this, both started living in Saket Nagar in Padav area.
Additional SP Niranjan Sharma informed that Ajay Bhargav was very upset with the expenses of his second wife Durgavati. Durgavati used to spend so much money that Ajay’s financial condition started deteriorating. He also started getting angry with Durgavati, so Ajay made a plan to get Durgavati out of the way.
The contract for murder was given for Rs. 2.5 lakh
For this, he took the help of his three friends. Ajay called his friend from Indore to Gwalior with an Eco Sport car. According to the plan, Ajay gave a contract to his friend to kill his wife for Rs 2.5 lakh. As per the complete plan, Ajay had gone to visit a temple with his wife and brother-in-law and while returning, Ajay’s friend hit the bike with the Eco Sport car.
As per the plan, Ajay got his wife out of the way. Ajay also gave his friend two and a half lakh rupees as supari (contract money), but all his cleverness was exposed in the police investigation and he was caught.
