Why did Global Times remove the article on Jaishankar after publishing it?

Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar is known worldwide for his eloquence and wit. Diplomats from different countries have praised him many times. Jaishankar strongly presents India’s side on global forums. This attitude of Jaishankar is irritating China.

China’s state media ‘Global Times’ published an article full of criticism of India’s Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar but then removed it as soon as the controversy arose. However, after the removal of this article, many analysts have targeted Global Times, which is called the mouthpiece of the Chinese government.

This article has been written by China’s alleged international affairs relations expert Wang Deming. This article starts with a comment on a recent statement given by India’s Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar. In the article, it has been said about S. Jaishankar that he is seen constantly cornering China due to hatred.

National security is not S. Jaishankar’s priority: Global Times
The article criticised India’s foreign minister. It was said about India’s foreign minister that national security is not a priority for him. The article described S. Jaishankar’s statement on China in a media forum as shocking. It was also alleged that S. Jaishankar’s jealousy and hatred towards China was visible in that statement. Jaishankar had said in a statement that the whole world is facing the ‘China problem’.

The article said that as India’s foreign minister, Jaishankar’s policies are not in the national interest. The article further said that Foreign Minister Jaishankar is afraid of the improvement in relations between China and India.

At the same time, in the article of Global Times, India’s Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar’s style of diplomacy was compared to that of former Prime Ministers Jawaharlal Nehru and Indira Gandhi. In this article, Global Times claimed that S. Jaishankar neither has the ethics of Jawaharlal Nehru’s diplomacy nor the morality of Indira Gandhi’s diplomacy. Indian diplomacy under the leadership of S. Jaishankar is pre-defined for all countries.

S. Jaishankar’s statement which made China angry

In fact, on 31 August, a strong statement was made about China in a media forum in the capital New Delhi. China is furious since this statement of S. Jaishankar. In the media forum, S. Jaishankar had said that the whole world has a common problem with China. Not only India but the whole world is debating on different issues regarding China. In Europe too, China is the center point of major economic and national security debates. At the same time, citing the example of America, the Foreign Minister said that America is also very serious about China and rightly so.

At the same time, the Foreign Minister had said that “We are already ignoring Chinese production and the special facilities it provides. China is a unique problem in many ways, just as its politics and economy are unique. As long as we try to understand its uniqueness, our policies and decisions may go wrong.”

This statement of S. Jaishankar was discussed all over the world. At the same time, China also did not like the aggressive stance of the Indian Foreign Minister. After this, an unsuccessful attempt has been made to corner Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar in an article by an alleged Chinese expert. However, the article was deleted shortly after the controversy.
