Bishop Allan Kiuna, the Co-Founder and Senior Pastor of Jubilee Christian Church (JCC) in Nairobi, Kenya, has passed away at the age of 58.

Bishop Kiuna was a renowned and highly esteemed figure in Kenya, known for his impactful work and profound influence on the lives of many. He co-founded JCC in 1999 alongside his wife, Reverend Kathy Kiuna, and dedicated his life to spreading the gospel and empowering the Christian community.

Despite facing a challenging battle with multiple myeloma, a form of bone marrow cancer, since 2019, Bishop Kiuna remained steadfast in his faith and commitment to his ministry. He had undergone treatment in the United States and was declared cancer-free, but sadly, his condition deteriorated, leading to his passing at a hospital in Nairobi.

The news of Bishop Kiuna’s passing has sparked an outpouring of condolences from Kenyans, who have expressed their deep sorrow and appreciation for his remarkable contributions. Kanini Kega, the national secretary of the Jubilee party, described the loss as a profoundly sad day, highlighting Bishop Kiuna’s enduring legacy as a friend and a pillar of the community.

Bishop Kiuna’s life story is one of overcoming adversity and rising to become a respected and influential figure in the Christian community. Born and raised in the slums, he defied the odds and became a “voice of reason, integrity and transformation” through his unwavering faith and dedication to his ministry.

The Jubilee Christian Church, which Bishop Kiuna co-founded, has been a beacon of hope and inspiration for many, with its mission to “Teach, Train and Equip the Body of Christ with the WORD OF FAITH so that believers can live a victorious life.” His passing marks the end of an era, but his legacy will undoubtedly continue to inspire and guide the congregation he leaves behind.
