Michael M. Wiseman, a resident of Jupiter, Florida, was arrested on Friday for making written threats to kill former President Donald Trump and U.S. Senator JD Vance, who was recently announced as Trump’s running mate for the 2024 presidential election.
The Jupiter Police Department (JPD) stated that Wiseman was booked on charges of written threats to kill, following multiple tips received about his threatening posts on social media. The United States Secret Service and the Palm Beach County State Attorney’s Office were involved in the investigation.
