Kimberly Guilfoyle, the fiancée of Donald Trump Jr., has publicly endorsed JD Vance as Donald Trump’s vice presidential running mate for the 2024 election.
Guilfoyle, a former Fox News host, has been a vocal supporter of the Trump family for years. She was previously an advisor to Donald Trump’s 2016 and 2020 campaigns. Now, she is throwing her support behind Vance, the Republican senator from Ohio, as Trump’s potential VP pick.
Guilfoyle praised Vance, saying “I really like him personally” and that he would be a strong choice to join Trump on the ticket. Her endorsement comes as Trump is expected to formally announce Vance as his running mate at the Republican National Convention this week.

Vance, a venture capitalist and author of the bestselling memoir “Hillbilly Elegy”, was initially a critic of Trump but later became a staunch supporter. He credits Donald Trump Jr. with helping him secure the Ohio Senate seat in 2021 and says the two have forged a close political relationship.
Trump Jr. is reported to have played a key role in lobbying his father to select Vance as the VP nominee, seeing him as someone who can help the ticket appeal to working-class voters in swing states. The selection of Vance, if confirmed, would mark a significant shift from Trump’s past running mates, as the Ohio senator represents a new generation of Republican leaders.
