While dancing at SHO’s farewell party, head constable suddenly got a heart attack and died

A head constable of Delhi Police died of a sudden heart attack. An official said that a head constable died due to a heart attack while dancing at the farewell party of the station house officer of Roop Nagar police station in North Delhi.

According to the news agency, the police said that Head Constable Ravi Kumar was originally a resident of Baghpat in Uttar Pradesh and had joined the Delhi Police in 2010.

The SHO of Roop Nagar was recently transferred and a farewell party was held in his honour on Wednesday. While dancing at the party, Kumar suddenly collapsed and complained of chest pain.

A police officer said, ‘He was taken to Hindu Rao Hospital, where the doctor declared him dead.’ Ravi Kumar had undergone angiography about 45 days ago. Police said that his family includes his wife and two children.

A video of the party shot a few minutes before the incident has surfaced on social media in which Ravi Kumar is seen dancing. Let us tell you that this is not the first case when a person has suffered a heart attack while dancing.

Even before this, many such cases have come to light where many people have died on different occasions due to sudden heart attack while dancing at a wedding or any other event.
