A case of assault on a pregnant woman living in a live-in relationship has come to light in Balotra, Rajasthan. It is alleged that the boy’s family broke the woman’s hands and legs. After this, they fled from the spot leaving the woman semi-naked outside her house. After the incident, the woman was taken to the district hospital. After first aid, she has been referred to Nahta Hospital in Balotra.
The incident is from Gida police station area of Balotra district. Gida police reached the hospital on information and has started investigation by registering a case against the accused on the statement of the woman. According to the police, the victim told that the young man living in a live-in relationship and his family were demanding money from her. When she did not give money, the young man and his family beat her up on Sunday night. The woman has fractures in her hands and legs and she is undergoing treatment in the hospital.

A woman was thrown out of her house in a semi-nude state
The victim also alleges that her partner’s family is saying that we do not want the child in the womb. Due to this, they brutally pulled my hair and beat me in a semi-nude state. After this, they threw me outside my house in the same condition and went away. The woman alleges that the accused youth threatened to kill me and my brother. He also called my brother and said that your sister is lying outside the house, take her away.
Police said this in the case
Gida police station in-charge Devaram said that a pregnant woman was beaten up. The incident was reported at around 1:30 am on Monday. The police reached the hospital and recorded the woman’s statement. On the basis of the statement, the police have registered an FIR against the accused who beat her, including the young man living in a live-in relationship, and have started searching for them. The accused will be arrested soon.
