When the delivery boy became the CEO of the company, went to deliver the parcel, then something like this happened…

No work is small or big. To prove this saying true, Akash Bansal, owner of a mobile accessories brand, decided to become a delivery boy himself one day. He mentioned his experience on social media platform X, but he had to face trolling on this.

Aakash Bansal, the owner of a Delhi-based mobile accessories brand, faced criticism on social media when he decided to personally deliver the order to his customer. On Monday, Aakash shared his cash-on-delivery story on X, in which he said that his experience was not very good.

Was disappointed even after getting the tip
Bansal said in his post that his company recently received a COD order worth Rs 3,200. When he saw that the delivery address was near his office, he decided to place the order himself. The location was just 10 minutes away from the office.

During the delivery, the woman who received the package gave them Rs 3,500 in cash and asked them to keep the rest. Bansal said that he returned Rs 500 to the woman, and both of them were happy about it. The woman said, “How are you guys so smart? I always wanted to do this, today it happened.”

Criticism received on viral post
However, as soon as Bansal’s post went viral, a section of people on X called his attitude ‘classist’. People said that Bansal felt embarrassed when the woman mistook him for a delivery agent, which hurt his ego.

A user Priyanka Lahiri quipped, ‘Next time when you go to make a delivery, get it written on a T-shirt. -‘I am the owner of the company, please make me feel good’. Maybe it will work.

Another user named Inderpal Singh wrote- I don’t understand why your enthusiasm decreased? This would have been a good tip for a real delivery boy.

When Deepinder Goyal became a delivery agent
Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal also connects with ground reality by becoming a delivery agent himself on peak days. Last year on New Year’s Eve, Goyal himself delivered four orders and tweeted, I am going to deliver some orders myself, will be back in an hour.
