When the car was in Rampur, how was the challan issued in Noida? Owner claims – I was fined for not wearing a helmet

A person has raised questions on Gautam Buddha Nagar (Noida) Traffic Police. This car owner from Rampur claims that he never went to Noida with his car, but still his car was challaned there, the message of which also came on his mobile phone. The reason given for the challan was without helmet.

Initially he did not pay attention but when he gathered information after getting emails and repeated messages, a traffic policeman told him that if he did not pay the challan, he would have to go to court. In such a situation, the car owner has complained about the matter to the higher authorities through the media and demanded appropriate action.

According to car owner Tushar, the offence of not wearing a helmet was mentioned in the challan details and a fine of ₹1000 was imposed. Now this car owner, who lives in Rampur district, about 200 km from Noida, is unable to understand how to get rid of this problem. For this, he has appealed to the Noida traffic police officials.

Tushar Saxena, a resident of Rampur, said that I received a message on 9 November 2023 at 8:47 am that I had been fined Rs 1,000. However, I and my car were in Rampur and the fine was fined in Noida. I never went to Noida/Gautam Buddha Nagar. My car never turned towards NCR. I did not pay attention at that time because messages keep coming throughout the day. Meanwhile, a mail came in which it was also said that my fine has been fined for “without helmet”. I paid attention to it when I kept getting the message repeatedly.

When asked that this challan was issued in November, then why so much ruckus now? On this Tushar Saxena said that one of my acquaintances is in the traffic police, when I met him, he told me that if the challan process is very long then this matter goes to the court. Therefore, I thought it appropriate to take cognizance of this now so that it does not get too late. At present, my only demand is that this matter should be thoroughly investigated, the challan has been issued in a wrong manner. There has been a mistake. How can a challan for helmet be issued on a car.
