‘When he was CM…’, why did Chandrababu Naidu compare Jaganmohan Reddy with Pablo Escobar?

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has compared YSRCP chief and former Chief Minister Jaganmohan Reddy to Pablo Escobar. Pablo Escobar was a drug mafia of Colombia.

Chandrababu Naidu released a white paper on law and order and marijuana, claiming he had never seen a situation like the one that prevailed when Reddy was chief minister.

Speaking on the threat of drugs in the assembly, Naidu said that what happened in Andhra can be compared to only one person and that is Pablo Escobar. CM Naidu said that Pablo Escobar was a drug mafia who sold drugs worth billions of dollars illegally and the leaders and people who opposed him were murdered.
