A video of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and party president Mallikarjun Kharge is going viral on social media. This video is from Maharashtra, where Rahul Gandhi had come to address a public meeting. Mallikarjun Kharge was sitting next to him on the stage. During this, something falls on Kharge’s clothes. After which Rahul Gandhi picks up a water bottle and is seen cleaning Kharge’s clothes. In this rally, Rahul Gandhi fiercely targeted the BJP.
Raised the issue of caste census
This rally was held in Sangli. In this rally, Rahul Gandhi targeted BJP and RSS. He said, “BJP-RSS people used to say that we are against caste census. We put pressure and a few days ago RSS said that yes caste census is necessary. If you are saying today that this is necessary, then what were you saying in the last 6 months?”
He further said that whatever happens, Congress and our alliance will conduct caste census. Because we want to know who is benefiting from the wealth of this country and who is not.
Rahul Gandhi said that the fight is of ideology. On one side is the Congress party and all the great men. They want to benefit the elected people. They want the Dalits and tribals to remain backward. They spread hatred. They create fights between languages and castes. Look at Manipur, the BJP people have set fire there. The PM cannot go there.
A direct target on PM Modi
Rahul Gandhi said, “Today we inaugurated the statue of Kadam ji. I was thinking that he worked with you with love for sixty years. In all these days, he never apologized to you because there was no need. Only those who do wrong apologize.”
He further said that a few days ago a statue of Shivaji Maharaj was made. I read in the newspaper that the Prime Minister said that I apologize to Shivaji Maharaj. Now I want to understand why he apologized. There can be different reasons for this. The first reason could be that the contract for this was given to a person from RSS.
Rahul Gandhi said that the second mistake could be that there was corruption and theft in the making of the statue and perhaps the Prime Minister is apologizing for this because the person to whom I gave the contract indulged in corruption and stole from the people of Maharashtra. The third reason could be that you made the statue in memory of Shivaji and did not even take care that the statue remains standing.
