When Ajay Devgan stopped Tabu’s car, he asked the driver – are you driving a bullock cart?

Bollywood’s powerful actors Tabu and Ajay Devgan are not only good friends in real life, but are also seen together onscreen. Director Neeraj Pandey’s upcoming film ‘Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha’ will be the 10th film in which Ajay and Tabu will be seen together.

Now Tabu has told how Ajay used to be during his college days. She also told how their friendship survived while working in an industry where friendships are made and broken with every film shoot. She also told about one such habit of Ajay which has remained intact from his youth till today.

Tabu told the story of Ajay’s driving
Ajay and Tabu, who are busy promoting ‘Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha’, gave an interview to The Lallantop. In this conversation, Tabu told that Ajay used to drive very fast in his youth and this habit of his is still the same. She said, ‘He has not changed much. It is just that earlier he used to drive an open jeep, and now he does not. But the speed at which he used to drive is still the same.’

Ajay denied Tabu’s claim and said that now he drives very slowly. But Tabu narrated an incident of his fast driving and said, ‘Even today when he asks me to drop him, I get scared. One day he stopped my car and said to my driver, ‘Are you driving a bullock cart? Drive fast. My car is behind.’

Ajay said ‘this is a 25 year old story’
In his defence, Ajay said that this is a 25-year-old incident. Defending his youthful attitude, he said, ‘I don’t deny it. When you are 18-19 years old, you live a different life. And then you start understanding things and you change. This happens to everyone.’

Tabu and Ajay first worked together in the 1994 film ‘Vijaypath’. Since then, both of them have appeared together in films like ‘Haqiqat’, ‘Takshak’, ‘Fitoor’, ‘Drishyam’ and ‘Bhola’. Their film ‘Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha’ is releasing in theatres on 2 August.

Ajay and Tabu are playing the role of ex-lovers in this film, whose love remained incomplete in their youth. Shantanu Maheshwari and Sai Manjrekar are seen playing the young versions of their characters in the film. Along with them, Jimmy Shergill is also a part of the cast of ‘Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha’.
