Bollywood star Ajay Devgan started this year with a big hit like ‘Shaitan’. His second release ‘Maidan’ hit the theatres in April, but this time Ajay faced failure. His film which was delayed for a long time, flopped. But this year Ajay will be seen on the big screen in front of the audience many times.

Now he is going to be seen in Neeraj Pandey’s film ‘Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha’ with the powerful actress Tabu. The film is about to release and Ajay, who is busy promoting it, has now told a funny story about the film ‘Zakham’ which won him the National Award for the first time.

‘Zakhm’ is considered one of the best films of Ajay’s career. This was the last film of the famous director Mahesh Bhatt and it got Ajay his first National Award for ‘Best Actor’. Now Ajay has revealed that he signed this film in the shower. In an interview with The Lallantop, Ajay called the experience of working with Mahesh Bhatt ‘lovely’ and said, ‘I remember I was shooting in Hyderabad. There were no mobiles then. I was in the shower and the phone in the room was ringing. Earlier there used to be a phone next to the shower.’

When Ajay picked up the phone, he came to know that Bhatt sahab wanted to talk. Ajay told, ‘I told him that Bhatt sahab I am taking a shower. Then he said that you listen to me, I am going to make the last film of my career. After this I will not make films. He started telling the story. Meanwhile I said that Bhatt sahab I am taking a shower. I am doing your film.

‘Zakhm’ was Mahesh Bhatt’s story
Mahesh Bhatt has told in interviews that this film was based on his own story and Ajay played his role in the story. Pooja Bhatt, Nagarjuna, Sonali Bendre and Kunal Khemu also worked with Ajay in the film. ‘Zakhm’ was the last film directed by Mahesh Bhatt.

However, the films directed by him, ‘Yeh Hai Mumbai Meri Jaan’ and ‘Kartus’ were released in theatres later. Almost 20 years after the release of ‘Kartus’, Mahesh ended his retirement and directed the film ‘Sadak 2’ with his daughter Alia Bhatt.
