Caste Census Politics: These days, there is a lot of commotion between the ruling and opposition parties in the Monsoon Budget Session of the Lok Sabha. On Tuesday also, during the discussion of the budget session, BJP MP Anurag Thakur from Himachal Pradesh’s Hamirpur Lok Sabha constituency (anurag thakur) and Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi (Rahul Gandhi) got into a heated debate. In this debate, Samajwadi Party national president and Kannauj MP Akhilesh Yadav (Akhilesh Yadav) also became a part of the debate. Akhilesh lashed out at Anurag Thakur for his statement commenting on the issue of caste census.
Akhilesh and Rahul got angry on Anurag Thakur’s statement
BJP MP Anurag Thakur created a ruckus by questioning the caste of Rahul Gandhi and other leaders who raised the issue of caste census. During the budget session, Anurag said that ‘those whose caste is not known talk about caste census’. Then what happened, the MPs of the opposition camp got angry with this statement and started creating a ruckus. They said that how can Anurag Thakur say such a thing. On the other hand, Akhilesh Yadav also got furious. Akhilesh raised the question that how can he ask caste? He said in a loud voice that how can you ask caste? You ask and show the caste, how did you ask caste. You cannot ask caste like this. However, Anurag Thakur was seen saying in his defense that he has not taken anyone’s name.
Caste census will be done – Rahul
On this, Rae Bareli MP and Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi said that whoever raises voice for the rights of Dalits, backward classes and tribals has to face abuse. So, if he gets abused for talking about caste census, then he is ready to face it. Rahul said that Anurag Thakur abused me. So insult me as much as you want, I can see the fish’s eye just like Arjuna can see my target. Therefore, caste census will definitely happen.
