Although anger, jealousy or revenge are part of human nature, sometimes people’s anger and desire for revenge are so strong that they do anything. What a Chinese woman did recently was something similar and was extremely shocking.
According to the Sohu news website, the woman, who goes by the ID xiaomayouren on the social networking site Xiaohongshu, told of her experience at the Starlight Place shopping centre in Chongqing, southwest China, in June, where she was ignored by staff. For which she took terrible revenge.
She told that she went to Louis Vuitton store to shop with a Hermes bag in her hand but the staff behaved very coldly with her. She wanted to see new products but she was shown the way to the old stock. When she asked for water to drink, this request was also ignored.
When she asked them to show her some clothes that fit her, the staff member started rolling her eyes and showing attitude. The customer said that when she called the luxury brand’s headquarters after the incident, she did not get any response. Frustrated, she decided to take revenge herself. The woman waited for two months to take her revenge and then she went to the same store with a bag full of cash totaling 600,000 yuan (about ₹70 lakh).
She tried on many clothes and liked them and then extended her bag to pay. The sales team took two hours to count the total cash of Rs 70 lakh. But as soon as the money was counted, the woman said – I don’t want to shop anymore, we are leaving and she left with the money. She herself told this entire incident on social media. Overall, she wanted to waste the time of the staff, which she did.
