The names of Darbar Hall and Ashok Hall located inside Rashtrapati Bhavan have been changed. According to a press release issued by Rashtrapati Bhavan, Darbar Hall will now be named Republic Mandap while Ashok Hall will be named Ashok Mandap. Darbar Hall is the place where national awards are presented, while Ashok Hall was originally a ballroom.
