Congress leader Salman Khurshid on Tuesday said that what is happening in Bangladesh can happen in India too. Though everything may seem normal. Former Union Minister Khurshid was speaking at the launch of academician Mujibur Rahman’s book ‘Shikwa-e-Hind: The Political Future of Indian Muslims’.

He said, “Everything may look normal in Kashmir. Everything may look normal here. We may be celebrating victory, although certainly some people believe that that victory or the 2024 success was perhaps marginal, perhaps a lot still needs to be done.”

According to news agency PTI, the former foreign minister said, “What is happening in Bangladesh can happen here as well. Its spread in our country prevents things from spreading the way it has spread in Bangladesh.”
