Bollywood singer Arijit Singh’s fan following is of a different level, wherever he performs in the world, his fans gather in large numbers. Arijit was soon going to start his tour in the UK, but now there is a worrying news for his fans.
Arijit Singh has postponed the shows of his UK tour which was going to start on 11 August. He also apologized to the fans for this, citing ‘medical situation’ as the reason for his decision.
Arijit postponed UK tour due to medical situation
Informing the fans through his Instagram handle, Arijit wrote in the note, ‘Dear fans, I am very sad to share that a sudden medical situation has forced me to postpone the August concerts. I know how excitedly you were waiting for these shows, and I apologize for disappointing you.’

In his note, Arijit did not say what his ‘medical situation’ was. But he further wrote, ‘Your love and support is my strength. Let’s turn this pause into the promise of an even more magical reunion.’
The new dates for Arijit’s concerts are: September 15 (London), September 16 (Birmingham), September 19 (Rotterdam) and September 22 (Manchester). Tickets purchased as per the earlier schedule will still be valid.
Ending his note, Arijit wrote, ‘Thank you for your understanding, patience and never-failing love. I look forward to creating unforgettable memories with all of you. With my heartfelt apologies and lots of gratitude, Arijit Singh.’
Fans prayed for Arijit
On Arijit’s post, his fans started praying for his speedy recovery. Many fans wished him ‘Get well soon’. One user wrote, ‘You just get well soon. We all were very excited for your concert since 11, but still your health is more important for us. We are with you every moment, every time, in every situation.’
On August 11, Arijit was scheduled to begin his UK tour at Manchester’s Co-op Live Arena. He was to be the first South Asian artist to perform at this venue.
