What did the National Conference do while being in power for 40 years? Mehbooba Mufti attacks Omar Abdullah

Elections are to be held in three phases for 90 assembly seats in Jammu and Kashmir. Politics in the valley is heated up over this. In Jammu and Kashmir, the National Conference is contesting the elections in alliance with the Congress, while the PDP and BJP are in the electoral fray alone. Therefore, political parties are putting in all their efforts to win the elections. Meanwhile, Mehbooba Mufti made a scathing attack on Omar Abdullah.

In fact, Omar Abdullah had targeted PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti and claimed that Jammu and Kashmir’s BJP election in-charge Ram Madhav is very close to Mehbooba’s party. On this, Mehbooba retorted by saying that Omar Abdullah himself was once a part of the BJP government. So what did Omar Abdullah do while being a minister?

Attacking Omar, Mehbooba said that he brought POTA, he advocated attacking Pakistan. But we had formed an alliance with BJP on certain conditions. We withdrew the FIRs of 12 thousand youth. A very big delegation came from Delhi, which went to the door of Hurriyat. Mehbooba said that we got the ceasefire done.

Mehbooba said that when the National Conference had 60 MLAs, our party had three times less MLAs than them, but everyone knows what their way of working was and what our way was. She said that out of the last 70 years, the National Conference government has been in power here for about 40 years, so everyone knows how the National Conference worked and how the PDP worked during its tenure in power.
