Weather: Heavy rain warning in these 8 districts of Gujarat today, IMD alert for 16 states including Delhi-UP

Monsoon is once again fully active in most parts of the country from north to south since the beginning of August. Light to moderate rain activities are being seen in various states including Delhi, UP, Uttarakhand, Bihar, Himachal Pradesh, Assam, Bengal and heavy rain activities are being seen at many places. The Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted heavy rains in West Bengal, Sikkim, Uttarakhand, Gujarat, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura and Arunachal Pradesh today, August 8. At the same time, the Meteorological Department has also issued a yellow alert for the national capital Delhi.

Heavy rain warning in Gujarat, advice not to go to the sea shore
The Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rains in Gujarat. After general relief from rain in the last 2 days in various districts of Gujarat, now there is a warning of heavy rain for the next three days from August 8. IMD has issued a warning of thunder storm in Gujarat for the next three days. Along with this, an alert has been issued for fishermen not to go to sea for the next five days.

Meteorologist Ramashrya Yadav informed that a heavy rain alert has been issued in Navsari, Valsad, Daman, Dadra and Nagar Haveli of Gujarat on August 8. Talking about the weather of the country’s capital Delhi, it will be generally cloudy on August 8. Light to moderate rain is also expected during this time. According to the weather forecast, light to moderate rain is expected to continue in Delhi till August 11. The maximum temperature of Delhi can remain between 32 to 33 degrees Celsius throughout this week. While the minimum temperature is likely to remain around 25 to 26 degrees Celsius.

Rain alert in these districts of Bihar
The Meteorological Department has issued an alert of heavy rain in East Champaran, West Champaran, Sitamarhi, Shivhar, Madhubani, Supaul, Araria, Kishanganj of Bihar today. At the same time, there is a possibility of lightning along with thunder in many districts including Samastipur, Muzaffarpur, Darbhanga, Saran, Siwan, Gopalganj, Saharsa, Madhepura, Purnia, Katihar.

Possibility of rain in Uttarakhand
IMD has once again issued an alert for heavy rain in Uttarakhand. IMD Director Dr. Bikram Singh said that heavy rain is forecast in all the districts of the state. Uttarkashi, Bageshwar, Rudraprayag, Chamoli, Nainital, Pauri, Tehri may receive heavy rain on August 8.

According to weather forecast agency Skymet, moderate to heavy rains may occur in Chhattisgarh, Telangana, Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Konkan, Goa and coastal Karnataka on August 8.

Whereas East Rajasthan, Delhi, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Uttar Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Odisha, Sikkim and Northeast India may receive light to moderate rains with heavy rains at some places.
