The weather became pleasant due to the rain in some areas of Delhi and Noida on Saturday evening. After the rain, people got some relief from the humid heat. Many areas including Delhi-Noida-Ghaziabad received rain in the evening. After this, waterlogging occurred in many areas. Heavy rain occurred in Delhi on Friday morning around the Ridge and DU.

The weather department has predicted cloudy skies and light to moderate rain on Saturday. The department has issued a ‘yellow’ alert for Delhi till Sunday. It has also predicted rain till July 28. During this time, the maximum and minimum temperatures here can remain around 34 and 26 degrees Celsius.

On Friday, rain in Delhi led to waterlogging on Minto Road. This monsoon, it is raining in some parts of Delhi and there is drought in some parts. In many areas of Delhi, it is raining so much that people are troubled by waterlogging and traffic jams, while there are many areas where there is not even a drizzle. On Friday, 99 mm of rain was recorded in the Ridge area till 8:30 am.

Flood like situation in Madhya Pradesh
Continuous moderate to heavy rains have created flood-like situation in many parts of Madhya Pradesh. Roads were submerged and rail services were affected. Due to the flood-like situation caused by the rains for the last 48 hours, people in rural areas had to leave their homes to save their lives. However, the rain brought relief to the Kharif crop.

According to the regional office of the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) located in Bhopal, the eastern and western parts of the state received rainfall in the last 24 hours. The highest rainfall of 175.4 mm was recorded in Raisen district in the eastern part of the state. Bhopal-based meteorologists said that the pace of monsoon may slow down for some time, but heavy rains are expected from July 28.
