We have no relation with Sanjay, says Kolkata rape-murder accused’s sister

CBI has entered the case of rape and murder of a female resident doctor in Kolkata. The central investigation agency has started its investigation. Meanwhile, Aaj Tak spoke on the phone to the sister of Sanjay Roy, the accused of this heinous crime.

The accused’s sister was asked if she was really Sanjay’s sister. To this, she said yes she is Sanjay’s sister. Talking about the CBI investigation of the case, she was asked if she knew that the case has now been handed over to the CBI. To this, she said, ‘Yes, I know and I am happy that now the CBI will investigate this case. Let them decide who is guilty in this case?’

During the conversation, Sanjay’s sister said that she has no relation with Sanjay. She has not been in touch with him for a long time. At present, nothing can be said about whether he has been framed or not. She said, ‘My mind is not working at this time. All the information is coming from TV and news only.’

In fact, on August 9, the body of a female doctor was found in the seminar hall of RG Kar Hospital in Kolkata. A 31-year-old post graduate resident doctor posted on duty at the government RG Kar Medical College and Hospital was allegedly sexually assaulted and murdered on the night of August 8. Officials recovered the half-naked body of the second-year student in the seminar hall of the Chest Medicine Department, which had several injury marks on it.

The post-mortem report of this case has also come out, which was handed over by the police to the victim’s family. This report talks about the nature of the murder and sexual penetration before it. It was told that the victim was killed by strangulation. She was raped before that. The accused strangled her twice. She died between 3 and 5 in the morning.
