‘We are not just election machines, we are the fertilizer and water that nurtures the dreams of the countrymen’, PM Modi told BJP workers

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday addressed party workers across the country on the occasion of the launch of the BJP National Membership Campaign 2024. During this, he took a dig at the opposition parties and said that many parties are examples of what happens when political organizations do not follow internal democracy.

PM Modi said, ‘Till the time the organisation or the political party through which the people of the country entrust power, that unit, that organisation and that party does not live the democratic values, internal democracy does not flourish in it, then a situation like the one we are seeing with many parties in the country today is created.’

Said this on women reservation

PM Modi said that 33 percent reservation for women in Vidhan Sabhas and Lok Sabha will be implemented when BJP will strengthen itself through this campaign. PM said, ‘This membership campaign, the structure of the organization… 33 percent reservation in Vidhan Sabhas and Lok Sabhas will be implemented in the same period. If this 33 percent reservation for women is going to come in this period, then will I include all those people in my membership campaign, who can make maximum number of women victorious and make them MLAs, MPs in such an important decision of my party.’

PM Modi said, ‘We are not just election machines. We are the fertilizer and water that nurtures the dreams of the countrymen. We are the fertilizer and water that immerse ourselves in the journey of taking the dreams of the country to resolution and the resolution to accomplishment.’

BJP president J P Nadda started the campaign by making Modi the first member. The Prime Minister asked the BJP members to think innovatively and create a stronghold for the party in the border villages.

PM Modi said that the new generation is not aware of the headlines of the scams of 10 years ago. He asked the party leaders to target the age group of 18-25 years during the membership campaign. PM Modi said that the youth in the age group of 18 to 25 years in front of me… is the biggest source of power for my dream of 2047. Therefore, they have to be connected to fulfill the goal of developed India, they have to be connected with the idea of ​​Nation First.

Jansangh was made fun of- PM

Recalling the BJP’s rise from its modest beginnings as a party with two MPs in the Lok Sabha, Modi attributed it to its commitment to the ideology of nation-first and welfare of the people. Stating that the BJP and its predecessor Jana Sangh were mocked by its rivals, he said the ruling party had done a lot to change the country’s political culture.

PM Modi compared the BJP membership drive to welcoming new members into the family. He said that this campaign is not about numbers but an ideological and emotional campaign.
