‘We are in front of you…’, said former CM Champai Soren on the question of rebellion

The atmosphere of assembly elections is building up in Jharkhand, but before that, political stir intensified in the state on Friday. News came out that former CM Champai Soren is going to rebel against Hemant Soren and the party. News came that Champai Soren has reached Delhi to meet the BJP top leadership and just before the assembly elections in Jharkhand, speculations are rife about former CM and JMM leader Champai Soren joining BJP. Amidst these discussions, when he was asked about this on Friday, he himself has answered.

What did Champai Soren say?
Champai Soren smiled at the question of the journalists and said, “You people are asking such questions, but what should I say on this, we are in front of you.” After saying this, he sat in the car. Let us tell you that, after Hemant Soren returned from jail, Champai Soren had to resign from the post of CM. Since then, there has been a discussion about him being angry.

Champai Soren resigned in July
Let us tell you that Champai Soren resigned from the post of Chief Minister in Jharkhand last month in July. After this, former CM Hemant Soren staked claim to form the government and Hemant Soren once again became the CM of Jharkhand. Champai Soren was the Chief Minister of Jharkhand from 2 February 2024 to 3 July 2024 and remained the seventh CM of the state. Champai Soren is counted among the senior leaders of JMM.

He is a seven-time MLA. He has been continuously representing the Saraikela assembly constituency since 2005. He became an MLA from Saraikela seat for the first time in 1991. Hemant Soren also made Champai Soren a cabinet minister in 2019. He was given the responsibility of Transport, Scheduled Tribes and Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes Welfare.
