Waterlogging became the cause of death! A 15-year-old boy drowned in Delhi’s Chanakyapuri, died on the road

Due to the rain on Friday in Delhi, waterlogging occurred at many places. Many localities and roads were flooded. Similarly, the road near the British School in Chanakyapuri area was waterlogged. During this, a 15-year-old boy playing with his friends died due to drowning. On receiving the information, the police took the body in their custody and sent it for post-mortem. Police say that further investigation is going on.

It is being told that a 15-year-old boy named Saurav was playing with some of his friends in the water accumulated after the rain. While playing, he got stuck under a car. Suddenly the flow of water increased. Saurav tried to get out, but due to the strong flow, he got stuck. When the people present on the spot saw Saurav, they took him out and gave him CPR, but he died.

A police officer said that heavy rains lashed some areas of the city on Friday. Due to this, there was waterlogging near the British School in Chanakyapuri area of ​​​​central Delhi. A 15-year-old boy playing on the road died by drowning. Police said that the deceased Saurabh lived with his family in Vivekananda Camp in the same area.

The child was taken out of the water and taken to the hospital

According to the police, Saurabh and some of his friends were playing in the rain on a waterlogged road near British School. Then he accidentally went into deep water and drowned. The victim’s friends informed his family members, who immediately reached the spot and pulled him out of the water. He was then taken to the hospital, where he was declared dead. Police said that the body of the deceased has been sent for post-mortem and further investigation is underway.
