The viral video starts with a passenger making a video of water dripping from the roof and the seats getting wet. An X user shared the video and wrote, look at the condition of Vande Bharat train. This train runs on the Delhi-Varanasi route. Vande Bharat’s number is 22416.

Railways gave this answer

After the video surfaced, the official handle of Northern Railway shared an update and said that the reason behind the leakage was temporary blockage of pipes. It wrote- Due to temporary blockage of pipes, a little water leakage was observed in the coach! The staff present in the train noticed and fixed it. Sorry for the inconvenience caused.

The video, shared on July 2, has been viewed over 23,000 times. Social media users criticised the railway ministry for its poor management of trains. Reacting to this, a user wrote, “Railways will give you AC as well as waterfall when you pay the full ticket amount.” Another user said, “The standards of Vande Bharat are mediocre.”
