Was the protest in Bengal unsuccessful? When the question was raised in ‘Dangal’, the BJP spokesperson gave this answer

Calling the Bengal bandh called by BJP in protest against the brutality in Kolkata’s RG Kar Hospital a conspiracy, CM Mamata Banerjee said that I have also done student politics. I salute the Kolkata Police who protected Kolkata with so much patience. Attacking the BJP, Mamata said that no matter how many conspiracies the BJP makes, it will not succeed. BJP will not win anywhere in the whole of India.

Mamata also called the BJP’s protest in Bengal a failure. But when asked about this in Chitra Tripathi’s show ‘Dangal’, BJP spokesperson Syed Zafar Islam said that everyone is watching on TV how the crowd has gathered. Never before in the history of Bengal has the public been as angry as it is today. People of all communities are standing against Mamata Banerjee. She will have to resign.

Regarding President Draupadi Murmu’s statement on the Kolkata incident, political analyst Tauseef Ahmed Khan said that every Indian will comment on what Draupadi Murmu has said. Whoever heard about the tragic incident that took place at Kolkata’s RG Medical Hospital will react in the same way that enough is enough, now strict steps have to be taken. And this is the reason why Mamata Banerjee also wrote a letter to the Prime Minister that within 30 days you should fast track the case and arrange for hanging the accused so that it can be an example and anyone will think 100 times before committing such a crime in future.

Tausif Khan said that Draupadi Murmu ji has not taken the name of Mamata Banerjee anywhere, so why is BJP twisting it? If someone creates a ruckus or vandalism in the name of protest on the streets, then why should the police not use lathicharge and water cannon? Whether it is a bandh or a protest, no one has the right to take the law in their own hands.
