War broke out over the credit of Stree 2, uproar after Aparshakti’s statement, know the whole matter

Rajkumar Rao-Shraddha Kapoor starrer Stree 2 is making a splash in the theatres. The fight between Stree and Sarkate has ended in the film but there is panic outside the theatres regarding the film credit. Till now the debate among the fans was only about Shraddha and Rajkumar, but now Aparshakti Khurana has also entered it.

Aparshakti is angry

Aparshakti Khurana, who has been a part of both the parts of Stree, may have played the role of Rajkumar Rao’s friend, but he has been completely successful in leaving his mark. In an interview given to Zoom, when Aparshakti was questioned about the credit of the film, he said something which has deepened the controversy. Aparshakti said, “I will say something on this, if the matter comes out, it will go a long way. I would not like to say anything. Whatever the audience says is right.”

Users got a whiff of complex feelings from his statement. It is believed that Aparshakti is upset about not being given credit for the film and struggling to make a name for himself. The actor also blamed the PR game. He said, “The film is definitely earning a lot in theatres. But PR has a big role in raising someone up and bringing someone down.”

The writer said- it is my film

The writer of the film Niren Bhatt also commented on the credit war of Stree 2. He laughingly said, “This is my film. As a writer, I will say this. But Stree 2 is everybody’s film. It is a team film. Neither ‘A’ person’s nor ‘B’ person’s, it is the director’s film, the writer’s film, the producer’s film, the actors’ film and every technician’s film, who has worked on it with a lot of hard work and dedication.”

Amidst the credit war, Stree is also being called a female centric film. Director Amar Kaushik also broke his silence on all this. Amar refused to accept the film as female centric.

The director told the team’s film

Amar said, “I would not call it a female-centric film, it is much more than that. The female character in the film is strong. There is a woman in the film who saves the men. Around the interval, when the song plays, a woman signals the boys to go and hide and they hide behind a bangle shop. So, I would say it is not a female or male-centric film. In my films, I try to keep the women stronger than my male characters, be it ‘Bala’, ‘Stree’ or ‘Bhediya’, and now ‘Stree 2’.

Amar also talked about who is the star of Stree 2. He said, “If you see our posters, the three boys are in the front, along with Pankaj Tripathi and Shraddha. All five of them are the stars of this film, their characters make the film. Others will come and go, but these five will be the soul of our film. Then our technicians, they have given their 100% to the film. Every person associated with the film is a star because each one of them has given their all to the film, without even one person, the film would not have been the way it is.”
