VVIP treatment in jail and freedom to make video calls… now big action against Kannada actor Darshan!

Kannada cinema superstar Darshan Thoogudeepa, lodged in Parappana Agrahara Central Jail in Bengaluru’s Renuka Swamy murder case, may be shifted to Belgaum or Bellary district jail. This action is being taken after a video and photo of him went viral, in which he can be seen with VVIP treatment inside the jail. The government has also suspended seven jail officials in this case. The jail superintendent has been transferred.

Karnataka Home Minister G Parameshwara said that those who have been suspended include jailers Sharan Basappa Amingad and Prabhu S Khandelwal, assistant jailers L S Kuppeswamy and Srikant Talwar, head warders Venkappa, Sampath Kumar and warder K Basappa. He said that he had instructed the Director General of Police immediately after the matter came to his notice. He had sent a team of senior police officers to the jail for investigation.

Kannada actor Darshan Thoogudeepa is seen talking on a call in the viral video. The clip begins with a man wearing a yellow T-shirt smiling warmly at the other person on the video call. As the call progresses, the other person moves away, removing the camera from his face. He hands over the mobile to someone standing nearby. Moments later, actor Darshan’s face appears on the mobile screen.

Darshan happily greets the man by waving his hand. After this, a conversation takes place between the two. Earlier, one of his pictures also went viral on social media, in which he is getting VVIP treatment inside the jail. In this picture, those three prisoners are seen sitting in the lawn of the jail with their friends. Everyone is drinking tea and smoking cigarettes. The name of the person seen with them is Wilson Garden Naga, who is a notorious gangster.

Several accused, including Darshan Thoogudeepa and his girlfriend actress Pavitra Gowda, were arrested in the Renuka Swamy murder case. Renuka, a 33-year-old auto driver, was found dead near a flyover in Bengaluru on June 9. Renuka Swamy, who was a fan of Darshan, was kidnapped and murdered by a gang on the instructions of the actor for harassing Pavitra.

On August 21, a Bengaluru court extended the judicial custody of Darshan, Pavitra and others till August 28. Reacting to the viral photo, Renuka Swamy’s father Shiva Gowda has requested the state government to take action against the actor. He said, “When Darshan asked for home-cooked food, he was not allowed it. We have faith in the police and the justice system.”

Renuka Swamy’s father Shiva Gowda said, “I am completely surprised how this happened. This is shocking news for me. I request the state government to investigate this matter and take appropriate action. He (Darshan) has no guilt that he has done any mistake. This case should be investigated by the CBI so that my son can get justice. His soul can rest in peace.”

Let us tell you that this murder was committed in Pattanagere village of Bengaluru. Renuka Swami was beaten to death as soon as she left the scene of the incident for darshan. After this, one of the accused Pawan informed the actor about this via WhatsApp. Then a plan was made to dispose of the body. All the accused reached Kamakshipalya with the body. There the body was thrown near a drain.

After this, they surrendered at the police station, where they said that there was a dispute of Rs 30 lakh. When the police did not believe the accused, they were interrogated strictly. After this, the accused revealed the truth. They told that a contract of Rs 30 lakh was given to kill Renuka Swami. An advance amount of Rs 5 lakh was also paid in this.

He also revealed the name of the mastermind of this murder, Darshan. Police investigation revealed that actor Darshan had given a contract to kill Renuka Swami a few days ago. After this, his people first started tracking Renuka. They gathered every small and big information about Renuka, a resident of Chitradurga. They kidnapped her on 8 June by deceit. They took her to Kamakshipalya area of ​​Bengaluru, where she was kept in a shed. She was tortured in this shed and finally beaten to death.
