Vivo has launched its two new smartphones Vivo V40 Pro and Vivo V40 in the Indian market. Both the phones are part of the company’s mid-range premium V-series. The company has launched them as a successor to the Vivo V30 series. They have a 50MP front camera.
The Pro variant has a MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ processor, while the standard variant has a Snapdragon7 Gen 3 processor. The Vivo 40 series has a Zeiss branded rear camera and a 5500mAh battery. Let’s know their price and other details.
What is the price?
Vivo V40 Pro comes in two configurations. Its 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant is priced at Rs 49,999. At the same time, the price of 12GB RAM + 512GB storage variant is Rs 55,999. This phone comes in blue and titanium gray color. Its sale will start from August 13.

At the same time, the price of 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant of Vivo V40 is Rs 34,999. Its 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant is priced at Rs 36,999, while the price of 12GB RAM + 512GB storage variant is Rs 41,999. This phone comes in Blue, Lotus Purple and Titanium Gray. Its sale will start from August 19.
What are the specifications?
Both the smartphones work on Funtouch OS 14 based on Android 14. They have a 6.78-inch AMOLED display, which supports 120Hz refresh rate. The peak brightness of the screen is 4500 Nits. Vivo V40 Pro has MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ processor.

It has up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage. The standard variant has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor. Talking about optics, the Vivo V40 Pro has a 50MP main lens, a 50MP wide angle lens and a 50MP telephoto lens.
On the other hand, Vivo V40 has a camera setup with a 50MP main lens and a 50MP wide angle lens. Both the phones have a 50MP selfie camera. To power the device, a 5500mAh battery has been provided, which comes with 80W wired charging support.
