According to the information, the TMC leaders have been identified as Bapi Roy and Mohammad Sajjad. It is being told that 8 to 10 masked people riding on bikes shot both of them.

According to Bengal Police, both were taken to the hospital after the incident. Where the doctor declared Bapi Roy dead. At the same time, Mohammad Sajjad is seriously injured and is undergoing treatment. TMC district president Kanhaiya Lal Agarwal said that Sajjad was shot in the back and his condition remains critical.

Shot from close range while eating food

According to the information, this incident happened when Bapi Roy and Sajjad were eating at a dhaba in Islampur, Dinajpur. Meanwhile, at around 9 pm, a gang of eight to ten people came on a bike and shot them from behind. Roy was shot in the neck, due to which he died. At the same time, Sajjad was shot in the back. TMC leaders said that they are not aware of why both were shot. However, we are hoping that the police will arrest the attackers as soon as possible.
