BJP MLAs slept inside the assembly: On Wednesday, a new twist was seen in the politics of Karnataka. The political battle between Congress and BJP is being fought inside the assembly as well. Karnataka Legislative Council Chairman Basavaraj Horatti said, they (BJP) have sent an adjournment motion regarding MUDA. I tried to explain to them that this is not a routine matter. But this is not a routine matter. This happened 3-4 years ago, for me it is not a topic worth discussing. Yesterday they gave a letter to reconsider. So I am reconsidering it. Today I will call the Leader of the Opposition and the Leader of the House. I will again discuss with both the sides and try to convince them.
BJP MLAs raised the demand for investigation
At the same time, Karnataka BJP MLA Basanagouda R Patil said, MUDA scam is worth Rs 4000 crore. There has been a lot of corruption in land acquisition and allotment of plots… We want that all the scams that happened during the Siddaramaiah, BS Yediyurappa, Basavaraj Bommai governments should be exposed. This adjustment politics going on in Karnataka for the last 10-15 years should end. Our party high command should understand that this adjustment politics has caused a lot of damage to the BJP. Our demand is that Siddaramaiah should resign and the MUDA scam should be investigated by the CBI.
