The lawyer of the girls who were sexually abused in a school in Badlapur of Thane district of Maharashtra has made sensational allegations against the police. Senior lawyer Aseem Sarode says that from the time the incident came to light to the time the case was registered, the police has made many big mistakes. The FIR has also not been registered properly. There are many flaws in it. The sections have not been applied according to the severity of the case. The police has even revealed the identity of the victim.

Aseem Sarode said, “The victim was continuously tortured since August 5. Her friend was also made a victim of lust. The girls clearly said that the cleaning dada has done wrong to them. Despite this, the name of the accused is not mentioned in the FIR. He has been described as an unknown person. Even the necessary sections have not been imposed in the FIR. Just as section 6 has been imposed on the demand of lawyers, section 9 should also be imposed in the same way.”

The lawyer has also accused the police of acting irresponsibly. He said that the victim’s home address, name and mobile number have been written in the FIR, which is going viral. In this way, the police themselves have revealed the identity of the victim, which is legally wrong. Those who do this can lose their jobs under section 22 of the POCSO Act. The law talks about helping the victim, which has not been received yet.

Let us tell you that on Monday, the local court of Thane district sent Akshay Shinde, accused of sexual abuse, to 14 days judicial custody. After the period of police custody ended, he was produced in the Magistrate Court in Kalyan amid tight security. On Sunday, the SIT investigating this case reached Akshay Shinde’s house. He lives in Kharvai Gaavdevi area, where his house was locked. The SIT opened the lock.

Work was done to find clues inside Akshay Shinde’s house. His mobile phone was also searched, which can lead to many revelations. It is expected that many important evidences will be found during this investigation. The SIT team stayed at the accused’s house for about 45 minutes, after which it returned. During the investigation, some important documents and Akshay’s mobile were being searched. During this time, the accused was also with them, who had covered his face with a handkerchief.

It is being told that he has been married twice. His first wife left him. He got married again just 4 months after his first wife left him. However, due to his habits, his second wife also left him. On August 16, a case was registered against him after the case of sexual abuse of two girls in the school bathroom came to light. After this, the police arrested the accused under the POCSO Act.
