Uttarakhand heavy rain Death: Heavy rains have been continuing in Uttarakhand for the past 24 hours. From the mountains to the plains, only water is visible. The situation has worsened in many places on the mountains. The water level of all the rivers in the state is continuously increasing. All the flowing streams are also overflowing. Two people have died and one other is reported to be injured due to cloudburst in Ghansali of Tehri district.

Due to cloudburst in Nautar Gadera in Jakhanyali of Ghansali Assembly constituency, an open hotel near the Gadera has been washed away and a culvert connecting Ghansali-Chirbitia motor road in Muyalgaon has been washed away. Police and SDRF teams have left for the spot.

In view of heavy rains, the electricity department has shut down the power for safety. PWD’s AE is also present on the spot. JCB has also been dispatched for relief and rescue. There was news of three people of the same family missing, out of which the bodies of two people have been recovered.

Cloudburst incident in Bhim Bali Gadera on Kedarnath walking route

At the same time, there has been an incident of cloudburst in Bheem Bali Gadera on the Kedarnath walking route. A large part of the walking route is said to be badly damaged. Heavy debris and boulders have fallen on the way, after which movement on the walking route has been stopped. It is said that about 200 pilgrims are feared to be stranded in Bheem Bali, while the water level of the Mandakini river in Kedarnath Dham is rising rapidly, Gauri Mai temple has been evacuated due to rising water level of the river in Gaurikund.
