Uttar Pradesh: Jet spray, 1.5 lakh temporary toilets, deployment of 10 thousand personnel… Full focus on cleanliness in Maha Kumbh 2025

This time many new steps will be taken regarding cleanliness in the world’s largest religious gathering (fair). The Yogi government, which is busy preparing for Maha Kumbh 2025 in Prayagraj, will not only build 1.50 lakh toilets at the fair site, but sanitation workers will work day and night. A temporary colony will also be built for their stay. Instructions have been given to meet the standards of cleanliness.

Maha Kumbh 2025 will be grand and divine as well as meet the standards of cleanliness. Many important steps will be taken for this. The Chief Minister gave these instructions after reviewing the preparations.

1.50 lakh toilets for Swachh Maha Kumbh

1 lakh 50 thousand temporary toilets will be constructed at the Maha Kumbh site. To enable the devotees to take a holy dip in the confluence and follow their religious beliefs in a clean environment, more than 10 thousand sanitation workers will take responsibility for cleanliness during the Maha Kumbh.

Arrangements will be made in Maha Kumbh to ensure ‘safe Kumbh and clean Kumbh’. Suction vehicles will be installed for cleanliness and cleanliness vehicles will also be monitored through GPS.

Kumbh site will be clean, these will be special arrangements

More than 300 suction carts and jet spray cleaning systems will be used to provide better facilities to the visitors of Maha Kumbh. The service level for cleaning of toilets will be monitored through QR code.

More than 25 thousand dustbins with liner bags will be placed at the Kumbh Mela site which will be changed thrice daily. 120 tipper-hoppers and 40 compactor trucks will be deployed to keep the Kumbh city clean. These vehicles will be monitored using GPS.

More than 10 thousand sanitation workers will be deployed

During Maha Kumbh, 10,200 workers will be deployed. These workers will work day and night in 850 groups. To provide facilities to the sanitation workers, the government will also construct a cleanliness colony for all the sanitation workers. The daily wages of the sanitation workers will be transferred directly to their bank accounts.
