To stop the dangerous activities of Russia, China and North Korea, America, Japan and South Korea have jointly formed a new military command. This is happening for the first time that the headquarters of this command will be on Japanese soil. There will be 50 thousand American soldiers here. It will be led by a three star general.
The direct benefit of this command will be that one will not have to wait for permission from the US Indo-Pacific Command in Hawaii to complete any mission or work. If Russia, China or North Korea takes any wrong step here, this new command will be ready to take immediate action. There will also be war exercises under this command.

The decision to form a new military command was taken with the consent of the US, Japan and South Korea’s defense secretaries Lloyd Austin, Minoru Kihara and Shin Won-sik. For this, a trilateral meeting was held in Tokyo. Japan will benefit the most from this command. Because it will get the opportunity to do more military exercises with America and South Korea. America’s aircraft carriers and fleet will be stationed in Japan.
A big threat is arising from China, hence the new command
Not only this, to increase Japan’s military capability, America will strengthen its West Industrial Base. Along with this, it will also give Patriot anti-missiles to Japan. America will conduct joint military exercises on the islands in the south-west of Japan. This is the first such agreement between Japan and America after 1960. The main focus of this command is on China. Because China is constantly increasing tension in the Pacific region
There was a problem of coordination in the old alliance
There was a problem of coordination in the countries which have alliance with America and Japan. There was a problem of command and control in US Forces Japan (USFJ). Japan had to repeatedly talk to the Indo-Pacific Command based in Hawaii. Which is 6500 kilometers away from Japan and 19 hours behind. This was also causing communication problems. Command will also be needed when there is a conflict between China and Taiwan.
This command will help Taiwan and the Philippines so that China cannot capture them. Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida and US President Joe Biden had made a deal that they will further strengthen the defense structures of their partner countries.
