US election: Kamala Harris shines after Biden’s withdrawal, approval rating rises by 8% in a week, know how much Trump’s rating has fallen

In the US presidential election to be held on November 5, there is a contest between Democrat Kamala Harris and Republican Donald Trump. Meanwhile, the performance of Democratic Party candidate Kamala Harris seems to be improving. After President Joe Biden withdrew from the candidacy, Kamala Harris’s approval rating has increased by 8 percent compared to last week.

ABC News, citing Ipsos poll, reported that Kamala Harris’ approval rating is now 43 percent. Whereas, her dis-approval rating is 42 percent. That is, 43 percent Americans want Kamala Harris to become the President. Till last week, Kamala Harris’ approval rating was 35 percent and dis-approval rating was 46 percent.

That is, after Biden’s withdrawal from the presidential race, Kamala Harris’s approval rating has not only increased, but her dis-approval rating has also declined.

Along with Kamala Harris, the ABC News/Ipsos poll has also released the approval ratings of many other leaders of the Democratic Party. These include Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear’s approval rating of 13 percent, California Governor Gavin Newsom’s 21 percent, Josh Shapiro’s 17 percent, Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer’s 20 percent, North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper’s 7 percent, Arizona Senator Mark Kelly’s 22 percent and Minnesota Governor Tim Walz’s 6 percent.

Kamala Harris got Obama’s support

On July 26, former President Barack Obama and his wife Michelle supported Kamala Harris’ candidature. Obama informed Harris about this by calling her. Obama said that Michelle and I are proud to support you. On this Kamala Harris said that Michelle-Barack this means a lot to me.

Now voting will be held on August 1 to choose the presidential candidate in the Democratic Party. After getting the support of Barack Obama and Michelle, Kamala Harris’s candidature is now considered almost certain.
