UPSC students angry with Rajendra Nagar incident started a war, created groups everywhere on Telegram, Whatsapp, X, protests continue

After the death of three UPSC candidates in a famous coaching institute, the students have opened a front against the responsible agencies including MCD, Delhi Government, Delhi Fire Service. Candles are lit in the area as soon as the evening falls and a crowd of students remains outside the Rajendra Nagar coaching centre from morning till afternoon. To give edge to their fight, the students have created many types of groups on social media and more than 5000 members have joined all of them.

Groups have been formed on WhatsApp and Telegram in the name of UPSC students Union, United UPSC students, ORN protest volunteers which are the biggest weapon of the fight. ORN protest volunteer Himanshu is a student of Vajirao but after the incident, he sat on the protest site and is demanding compensation of five crores for the families of the victim children. Rajat, a candidate preparing for UPSC, says that most of the students are connected on the WhatsApp group who will remain on the protest until their demands are met.

UPPCS, BPSC, UPSC main exam, RBI Grade B, UPSC (CAPF) etc. exams are to be held in the next month but students are facing a double whammy. Whatever may be the fear of any protest or action, but due to the vigilance of the agencies, most of the coaching institutes are closed in Rajendra Nagar area.

UPSC candidates forced to live in basement flats under stairs, amid kitchen accidents

Candidates from many other states have come to Delhi to prepare for UPSC. Candidate Saurabh Singh told what dangers he is facing and that he is living in a basement flat where it becomes difficult to breathe as soon as the power goes off. After the death of a student, agencies and different officials are claiming that action is being taken everywhere but even today students are living in a place where accidents are being invited every day. We have taken a similar situation where a flat is built inside the basement and the kitchen is being used under the stairs.

There are three rooms and the rent of the house is 15000, yes, don’t be surprised, the electricity bill also comes every month for 7500/6500. Saurabh, a student from Lucknow, says that to get a flat on rent, he has to pay a large amount of brokerage and advance and when the power goes off, it feels like there is a shortage of oxygen.

At the same time, Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad held a press conference and asked what is the reason that there is no control on the fees of coaching institutes. The ratio of students is haphazard. For this, it is necessary that a regulatory body be formed so that every coaching can be audited. Action should also be taken against the coaching owners. The government that talks of making Delhi a Paris needs to accept this. ABVP media coordinator Ashutosh says that Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad is demanding action against the coaching mafia.
