UPSC IAS Last Minute Tips 2024: Only a few days are left for the Union Public Services Commission (UPSC) Civil Services Mains Examination. The main examination (UPSC Civil Services Mains 2024) will be conducted from 20 September to 29 September 2024. If you have also qualified the preliminary examination of UPSC Civil Services and are now going to appear for the Mains exam, then this is the time for last minute preparation. In the era of Artificial Intelligence (AI), it has become very easy to prepare a study plan. Here, with the help of AI, a study plan has been prepared by dividing the 20-day preparation into four days, so that you can make your preparation more firm.

What should be your overall target?
Before preparing, it is important to understand where your main focus should be in these last 20 days of preparation. Revising what you have studied. Paying special attention to those topics where you need to work harder. Practicing writing your answers effectively.

The first four days

Revision of topics: Identify the important points of each topic by solving previous years question papers.

the second four days

Optional Subject: Focus on the important topics of your optional subject.
Practice: Practice from previous years question papers.
Group Discussion: Participate in group discussions with your friends or peers.

Third four days

Newspaper Analysis: Analyze important articles of the last few months.
Detailed analysis of previous years question papers: Understand the pattern of question papers and type of questions asked.
Build confidence: Stay positive and believe in yourself.

The last four days

Complete Mock Test: Take a complete mock test and find out your weaknesses.
Rest: Get enough sleep and rest.
Meditation and yoga: Do meditation and yoga to reduce stress.

When will which paper be held?
The UPSC CSE Mains 2024 exam will be conducted from September 20, the first paper of which will be essay. The next day i.e. on September 21, candidates will appear for General Studies Paper-I in the morning session and General Studies Paper-II in the afternoon. After this, General Studies Paper-III will be conducted on September 22 in the morning and General Studies Paper-IV in the afternoon. On September 23, the Indian Language Paper and English Paper will be conducted in the morning and afternoon sessions. The final exam on September 28 will have Optional Subject Paper-I in the morning and Optional Subject Paper-II in the afternoon.

Let us tell you that the UPSC CSE prelims exam was conducted on June 16 and the result was declared on July 1. A total of 14,627 candidates had passed the UPSC CSE prelims exam. A total of 1,056 vacancies are to be filled in this recruitment, including 40 seats reserved for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD).
